Taylor Wambold, LEED GA
INTERN
Taylor is an emerging professional with diverse project experience ranging from large-scale industrial projects to single-family housing. Her education and work experience have moved her from markets in rural Pennsylvania to Cleveland and now to the DMV as she pursues her master’s degree at Virginia Tech. Working in construction, in both estimation and as labor, has shaped how she approaches design. She appreciates the complexity within a seemingly simple project, understanding the care it takes to craft an elegant design.
Architecture has been a lifelong interest of Taylor's, starting with the historic homes along the shores of New Jersey her family would visit on vacation. Each home is unique, holding the character of every craftsman involved for generations to enjoy. Now she has happily expanded her interest and knowledge of architecture beyond beautifully restored family homes. Taylor hopes to bring her fascination with building construction and attention to detail to every project she has the opportunity to work on.
Outside of the office, you will see Taylor walking every neighborhood of DC to discover the best park to read in and the tastiest lavender latte.
