Melissa Wilcox
Project Designer
Melissa joined MTFA after earning her BS in Architecture and a certificate in Historic Preservation from the University of Cincinnati. She believes that meaningful design grows from its context—responding to place, time, and community to create spaces that feel authentic. For Melissa, sustainability extends beyond materials and performance; it’s about crafting architecture that belongs and contributes to a lasting sense of identity.
Outside of her professional work, Melissa is engaged in architectural education and outreach. She’s spent several years volunteering for organizations that are dedicated to introducing young people to design, architecture, and engineering. Beyond design, Melissa enjoys reading, traveling, taking photos, and spending time outdoors.
