Haley is a Historic Preservation Specialist whose experience focuses on the documentation and evaluation of the built environment including assessing resources for National Register of Historic Places eligibility determinations and nominations, as well as preparing historic contexts, condition assessments, and survey reports. As part of the MTFA team, Haley seeks opportunities in the field to continue to fuel her passion for working with old buildings. Originally from a rural farming town in Michigan, Haley’s love of history and old buildings was fortified throughout her childhood while she grew up on a mid-nineteenth-century farm. In her free time, Haley enjoys genealogy, yoga, a good book, and exploring historic cemeteries.
