SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Seeking architects who are interested in growing with the firm and communities we serve. MTFA’s mission is to positively shape culture, commerce and people’s lives through innovative design solutions for the built environment. To join us as a SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER in our studio, you should have:

  • A professional degree in Architecture, Design or related discipline
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Design sensibilities and management skills
  • Client and teaming relationship skills
  • Experience reviewing and editing specifications
  • Proficiency and project experience in Revit, 3D modeling, and graphic software
  • Strong communications and organizational skills

MARKETING PROPOSAL COORDINATOR

Seeking a friendly, well-organized, detail-oriented professional to provide full-time marketing, graphic design and office support as part of an integrated administrative team. Are you energetic, able to multi-task and do you have strong interpersonal skills?

Working with us you will:

• Assist in technical design proposals and award submissions where attention to detail, strong graphic and writing skills on clear deadlines are critical
• Design and/or produce materials needed by the design team (i.e. PowerPoint presentations, brochures, interview handouts, etc.)
• Organize and maintain electronic marketing files
• Assist with website updates as needed
• Assist in business administrative and communications including: general research, writing and editing, greeting visitors, answering phones, filing, and supporting the Office Admin team as needed.
• Work in close collaboration with other members of the Administrative and Marketing teams, as well as project leaders and executives throughout the firm.

To join us as a MARKETING PROPOSAL COORDINATOR on our administrative team, you should have:

• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and graphic)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign)
• Attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines
• A pleasant personality and a professional image

Preservation Architect

Seeking an architect with experience in historic preservation, who is committed to transforming visions, enhancing potential, and exceeding expectations in the built environment. In 2014, MTFA acquired John Milner Associates Preservation to form the nucleus of our growing historic preservation firm. We are dedicated to preserving and adapting historic buildings and sites nationwide. Preservation is what we do and what we have been doing for over 40 years.

Working with us, you will:

  • Experience developing trusted relationships with clients
  • Experience performing site surveys and preparing analysis of existing conditions and treatment options
  • Experience coordinating drawings and specifications

To join us as a PRESERVATION ARCHITECT in our studio, you should have:

  • Knowledge of the Secretary of Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Architecture with a specialization in Historic Preservation
  • 5+ years of historic preservation experience
  • Current architectural registration
  • Interest in the technical aspects of historic properties and buildings, including historic materials
  • Ability to collaborate with consultants and owner's representatives on complex multi-phased projects
  • Strong communications and organizational skills
  • Collaborative personality to bring out the best in team situations
  • Experience with government projects is a plus
  • U.S. citizen or permanent U.S. resident

PROJECT ARCHITECT

  • Project coordination skills
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent U.S. resident
