Joint Operations Command

MTFA Architecture developed drawings and specifications for the interior build out of this new 9,800-square-foot operations center for the U.S. Government. It is a contemporary environment expressing state-of-the-art, 21st century technological system support and the highest connectivity on a local to world-wide basis.

The strong geometry of the space reinforces the focus of the space from the 18 workstations to the 54-foot-by-12-foot video display wall. The work areas are tiered to provide greater visibility and hierarchy within the space.

While the materials selected create a powerful high-tech look, they are designed to also provide greater acoustics for the inhabitants. The new space will allow for continued operations supporting the critical mission of dedicated protection services.
